Who We Are

Kindling Behavior Consultants is a provider of play-based, child-led ABA therapy services for children ages 2 through 12 who have autism and other developmental disabilities.

Our Mission Statement

To provide solutions to the socially significant problems faced by people with developmental disabilities through the ethical practice and dissemination of behavior analysis. Our commitment is to establish a cooperative partnership with your family through trust, respect, and communication.

To share and promote kind, person-centered, and effective behavior analysis, thus creating lives that are more productive, happy, and free.

We’re driven to help others lead better lives by demonstrating and teaching the principles of learning and behavior analysis. They work!

At Kindling Behavior Consultants, we know that the most effective interventions are ones that tap into a child’s motivation. By keeping interactions fun, play-based, and kind, children are more likely to be open to therapy and engage in the process.

In fact, we chose our name precisely because of this reason. We wanted a name that included the word “kind,” and what better word than “Kindling” – something that is used as a starter, facilitates growth, and gets the fire going until it is strong enough to be on its own. The way kindling works is how we work as well—establishing functional, socially significant skills as the foundation for independence and growth. And just like kindling that disappears when it has done its job, our goal is to not be needed anymore, leaving children and families with the skills to address challenges and continue to grow without us.
